The city of Sydney is refreshing, modern, and a master stroke
of civil engineering. From traffic flow, the incredibly efficient
mass transit system, to oasis like parks, and historic preserva-
tion - Syndey has it all, and has done it right. I long to return to
this wonderful city. I choose to start in Hyde park, because you
literally can walk to dozens of important sites from this one
central park. From the historic buildings of Macquarie St, to the
Domain, Circular Quay, the opera house, and ferries - to in town
destinations like the State theatre, markets, China town and
Darling Harbor. Hyde park is a good starting point.

Sydney's parks are a major attraction for the local citizens as well as tourist.
Australia should be proud of this vibrant, clean, and idyllic city. There is much
culturally to explore as well, but not covered in this article.
